Long story ahead xD
It was a chilly night at MES. All the horses were in their stalls with their blankets over them, some where sleeping others were eating their night meals. Clairette stretched her head out of her stall to get some hay from the stall next to her but was soon shooed away by the crabby Chestnut mare Fire Crotch who snapped her teeth at her. She didn't even want to try again at getting some hay and Clair backed away, she had already eaten her hay but wanted some more. Giving a long yawn she sighed pawing some of the hay that made her bed. The blanket over her gave her enough warmth for her to sleep at peace but she always like to put some hay over herself for a little extra. She felt the baby suddenly move which caused to her stop her actions, turning her head she placed her muzzle on her belly before turning forward again. Once the throbbing sensation had passed she continued to paw the hay making a little pile that she was soon to place over herself. The dim lights of the stalls made her sleepier than she was besides that there was only the sounds of crickets and frogs outside that made any noise, the humans had already gone to get their night sleep.
Before Clair had a chance to even lay down she threw her ears back when her belly began to hurt, she turned her head around to her stomach again as the pain receded, before it came back again a bit more intense. Getting a hold of the blanket over her Clair took it off shaking it before letting it drop onto the ground. She began to pace up and down her stall hoping for the pain to go away, to her displease it only kept increasing. Fire Crotch gave her neighbor one glance to make sure Clair wouldn't be taking anymore of her hay, before laying down to rest for the night. Clair quickened her pace around her stall walking back and forth but the pain did not ease, she gave little grunts every-so often. Paloma, the mare that was on the other side of her stall lifted her head to see what was going on. She saw the Arabian mare pacing back and forth and once every bit scratching her belly. Paloma pricked her ears up while Clairette no longer could take standing up and lay down, even Fire Crotch had gotten up to see what the heck was going on.
It had seemed like forever before a little fluffy body with lanky legs lay on the hay next to Clairette. Tiredly Clair raised herself up to be able to turn to the little creature, she pricked her ears up and watched as the little head rose up looking confusedly at her surroundings. The little filly blinked, confused and disoriented before her big ocean blue eyes landed on the Bay mare, her mother. Clair's muzzle touched the filly's one who started to sniff her Dam, the world had gone from around them, it was just them two and no one else.
